Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TabMind Chrome extension and the TabMind Pro licence (together, "the Service"), provided by Paul Edwards ("we", "us"). By installing or using TabMind, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
TabMind is a Chrome extension that lets you query the contents of your open tabs using Anthropic's Claude API. You provide your own Anthropic API key. TabMind itself does not store, transmit, or process your tab contents on any server we operate.
2. Free and Pro plans
- Free — up to 5 tabs per query and 5 questions per day. Free forever, no account required.
- Pro — one-time payment of $19 (or local equivalent) for a lifetime licence with unlimited tabs and questions. Includes all future updates.
The Pro licence is for a single user. Sharing or redistributing your licence key is not permitted and may result in deactivation.
3. Anthropic API costs
You are responsible for all costs charged by Anthropic for use of your API key. TabMind is not a party to your relationship with Anthropic and does not control or markup their pricing.
4. Payments and refunds
Pro purchases are processed by Gumroad under their terms. We offer a 30-day refund for any reason — email hello@pauledwards.xyz with your Gumroad order ID and we will process it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TabMind to violate any law or third-party rights, including copyright or privacy.
- Reverse engineer, repackage, or redistribute the extension.
- Share, resell, or transfer your Pro licence key.
- Use TabMind to attempt to bypass paywalls, DRM, or access controls.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI responses will be accurate. Always verify important information before acting on it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for it (which for Free users is zero, and for Pro users is the Pro licence fee). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including Anthropic API costs incurred through your use.
8. Termination
You may stop using TabMind at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may suspend Pro access for users who breach these Terms (e.g., licence key sharing). Refunds outside the 30-day window are at our discretion.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
